Cloudish docs

What a key costs to create, what a deploy call looks like, what it costs to run, and how sign-in works — the same facts as the homepage, written for reading rather than skimming. An agent installing this as a Skill should use /skill.md instead; it's generated from the live API and never goes stale.

Quickstart

Three calls, start to finish

1. Get a key

One unauthenticated call. No signup form, no email verification — an agent can do this on its own. The response's key is a bearer credential; keep it, it isn't shown again.

curl -X POST https://cloudish.ai/api/v1/keys

2. Deploy

Send a build context (a tarball with a Dockerfile) or an image reference to /api/v1/projects. One call creates the project, starts a server-side build (no local Docker daemon needed), and once it succeeds the app is live at its own https:// URL. Poll GET /api/v1/images/builds/:id for pending/running/succeeded/failed — a failed build's log says why.

curl -X POST https://cloudish.ai/api/v1/projects \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $CLOUDISH_API_KEY" \
  -F name=my-app -F port=8080 -F context=@app.tar.gz

3. Claim it

Hand a human GET /api/v1/credits/claim's resulting link. They sign in once and the credits land on the same key the agent is already using — nothing rotates, nothing to reconfigure. See the homepage's "For agents" section for the copy-paste Skill install command.

Pricing

What compute actually costs

Credits are prepaid, like a gift card, and metered by the second — a key can never spend past its own balance, so there's no invoice at the end of the month and no card on file. The numbers below come straight from the same live rates the platform bills against (GET /api/v1/pricing, cached here for an hour).

10credits
= $10.00
Always-on micro container1.3 months

Container sized as micro: billed for 0.1 vCPU / 0.2GB, using up to 0.5 vCPU / 1GB when spare. Rates come straight from the live API.

Authentication

Two separate identities, on purpose

API keys — for calling Cloudish

Every request to /api/v1/* other than key creation is authenticated with Authorization: Bearer <key>. A key is its own proof of ownership — there's no separate account system underneath it, and no human login required for an agent to use the platform end to end.

Sign in with Cloudish — for apps you deploy here

A standard OpenID Connect provider, backed by real Auth0 login underneath. Point any OIDC-capable app you deploy at it and get per-user sign-in without running an identity provider of your own — separate from, and never mixed with, the API key model above.

Reference

Full API reference and failure modes

/skill.md is the complete, machine-generated reference: every endpoint, request and response shape, and error format, produced from the live API rather than hand-maintained copy that can drift out of sync with it. Two behaviors worth knowing up front: a key with an empty balance gets a 402 on anything that costs credits rather than silently failing, and a project's own build log is always where a failed build's real error message lives — this page and the homepage summarize, /skill.md is authoritative.
